(Ruach Ha Kodesh) In Hebrew, the Holy Spirit is feminine, not masculine as portrayed in modern Christianity. This brings up an interesting question regarding the Virgin Mary and her conception by the Holy Spirit. The blue represents both water and space. The tree, the almond blossom and the small shaft of wheat along with the flowers help define her shape. At the very center is a tiny Star of David, designating the point of origin within the tree, symbolizing the starting point or conception of our understanding regarding the divine.
